Our Curriculum

Planning

Our activities are planned using the government's "Early Years Foundation Stage" guidance which covers children aged 0 - 5 years and continues on into the School Reception Year. However, we promote a child-centred approach to any learning and play and creative experiences will reflect our provision, this ensures that every child becomes a confident learner in their own right.

Our children are offered activities through 'Continuous Provision' that is completely child lead and based on the child's interests. We focus on quality interactions where the child is able to explore their social and learning environments autonomously but also contribute by modeling what they have learnt outside of the setting. As a result, learning forms a natural part of their everyday experiences and promotes growth in both self-esteem and social skills. Children have access to both indoor and outdoor activities at all times.

Activities & Facilities

Activities include (but are not limited to!) painting, drawing, music and movement, role play, cooking, crafts, water/sand play, construction toys, singing, games, visits out and visitors in and computer work.
