  • Hello Everyone :-)

  • Our last day of the Summer term will be Friday 18th July 2025 and we will return Wednesday September 3rd 2025 for the Autumn Term.

  • May half tern will be from Monday 26th of May until Friday 30th May. Therefore, our last sessions will be Friday 23rd of May and we will return Monday 2nd June 2025.

  •  Our core hours are 9-3. However, to remain as flexible as possible we also have a 8am, 8.30 drop off and 3.30 pick-up. There are no set ways in which funded hours can be accessed and we strive to remain as flexible as possible in regards to parents wishes. Therefore, please pop in and discuss how we can allocate funded entitlement to suit both the needs of parents/carers and their children.

  • OUR OPEN/FUN DAY WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY 21ST JULY 2025 FROM 10AM UNTIL 3PM. THERE WILL BE A BBQ FROM 11.30 AND PLENTY OF ACTIVITIES TO KEEP YOUR CHILD ENTERTAINED, INCLUDING A BOUNCY CASTLE, GLITTER TATTOOS (TEMPORY OF COURSE), BUBBLES AND MORE. ALL CURRENT FAMILIES AND THEIR CHILDREN ARE WELCOME, HOWEVER, IF YOU REQUIRE A PLACE FOR SEPTEMBER, WHICH ARE LIMITED, PLEASE POP ALONG AND MEET THE TEAM, HAVE SOME FUN AND CHAT TO SOME OF OUR OTHER FAMILIES WHOSE CHILDREN ALREADY ATTEND. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE!!!

  • Please can all parent/carers ensure that their child is provided with sun cream and a hat for the last weeks of term. The children currently spend a great deal of time outside and we have very little shade and want to ensure that the children are as safe as possible while having fun in the sun.

  • At St Francis we strive to ensure that all children have access to the same learning opportunities as each other and are able to develop the social and emotional skills necessary to transition onto the next stage of their learning. Therefore, regular attendance is pivotal in their ability to develop independence, resilience and the confidence to navigate social and learning environments that may be very different from what they are used to. Regular attendance also enables us as educators to ensure all children are consistently receiving the level of support they require to thrive and progress alongside their peers in a safe and nurturing environment. Please do not hesitate to contact the setting should you have any concerns about your child's attendance as we are happy to offer support, advice and signpost to relevant support groups.

  • Nonetheless, we completely understand that there will be times children are poorly or can not attend, but can we remind all parents/carers that if your child is unable to attend for any reason you inform the setting as soon as possible and the reason why so we can update their records.

  • A kindly reminder to label your children's clothes please as we do have issues locating items of clothing that are not labelled but are very similar to others.
